In particular, the aim of the Plenty of Clean energy theme of the climate road map of North Savo is to regionally promote carbon-neutral energy production. The Heat Circulation Innovation Platform North Savo supports this provincial goal by promoting the introduction of heat production techniques that are not based on carbon-neutral combustion, and also by promoting the development and renewal of the region’s economic structure and new business opportunities in this sector.

In the project, we work practically together with companies in the area and find out possible areas for development, for example, how the company’s waste heat can be recovered and utilized. In practice, work is done together with experts and future makers, i.e. students. In this way, the project also promotes the values of Savonia’s education about closeness to working life and learning together.
